I made this card using all supplies from Close To My Heart!!! This inspired me to get back into making cards for our men and women who are overseas sacrificing their lives so that we can have the freedom to live ours. Birthday Card

This was a birthday card I sent to my grandmother for her birthday. She couldn't believe that I did it myself. She kept asking me if I bought it from someone. I got the pinwheel idea off of Operation Write Home. I used paper from Close To My Heart and the stamps are from Close to My Heart too. It just goes to show you that with the right tools a person can bring out their creative side and their family would be amazed. I was a little bit afraid at first to try and do the pinwheel, but once I did I enjoyed it so much that I am using it on my cards for my SWAP in June. So come back in a couple of weeks for more pictures using this technique.

I found this over at Deb Foti's Scrapping Mamma  .. she is doing this pay it forward.. so I thought.. what a great idea.. :)

"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share instead of just keeping it to ourselves.

2nd card for card swap

Here is my second card for the card swap that I am in. I wasn't that happy with it. I wanted to add more but was afraid that it would look way tacky. First card for May swap

Well we have been busy making lots of cards this week. This is first of the many pictures that I will be putting up over the next couple of days. This card is for my card swap group that I am in. I used the June SOTM with the Mayberry papers. You can get this card for $1.75 each or 10 for $13 or I would be happy to sit down and show you how to make it for free. Watch for more cards to come.
